FOR NORTHWESTERN ANDERSON…SOUTHWESTERN PICKENS AND EAST CENTRAL
OCONEE COUNTIES…

At 534 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast of
Seneca, or 5 miles southwest of Six Mile, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…DAMAGE TO VEHICLES IS EXPECTED.

Locations impacted include…
Clemson, Seneca, Walhalla, Central, Pendleton, Norris, Six Mile,
Liberty, Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Scattered trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned
area. Seek shelter inside an interior room.

Lake Hartwell and Lake Keowee are in the path of this storm. Get
away from the water and seek shelter in an interior room in the
nearest shelter. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be
struck by lightning.
