This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop late this afternoon
and tonight as a cold front moves into the area. Cloud to ground
lightning, brief heavy rain and gusty winds are the main threats.
Isolated severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out, with the
possibility of brief damaging winds during the late afternoon and
evening hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.

..Wednesday…Severe weather possible. Thunderstorms will develop
along a cold front as it moves across the area east of the mountains
during the day. A few of the storms could become severe across the
area mainly south and east of Interstate 85, with damaging wind
gusts the main threat.
..Thursday…No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Friday…No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Saturday…No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Sunday…No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
..Monday…No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
