…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN PICKENS COUNTY…

At 546 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest
of Pickens, or near Jocassee Gorges, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include…
Pickens, Table Rock State Park, Keowee Toxaway State Park, Jocassee
Gorges, Sunset, Pumpkintown, Nine Times, Easley, Dacusville and Rocky
Bottom.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Scattered trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned
area. Seek shelter inside an interior room.
