…PATCHY AREAS OF BLACK ICE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT THROUGH EARLY
TUESDAY MORNING ACROSS WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND THE SOUTH
CAROLINA PIEDMONT…

Though all precipitation has ended across the area, residual water
on surfaces along with temperatures hovering around freezing and
already cold ground temperatures will cause patchy areas of black
ice to form on area roadways, bridges, sidewalks and parking lots
overnight. Motorists should exercise caution through early
Tuesday morning and take extra time to reach their destinations
as they may encounter a few slick spots while traveling.
