Isolated thunderstorms could produce occasional cloud-to-ground
lightning, especially late tonight. Otherwise, rain showers will
continue to increase in coverage and intensity, with locally heavy
rain possible through early Sunday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

..Sunday…Heavy rain with flooding possible. Periods of moderate to
occasionally heavy rain are expected across the Piedmont throughout
the weekend. Total rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches appear likely by
Sunday evening, and this could lead to localized flooding issues.
..Monday…Heavy rain with flooding possible. Localized flooding
issues could linger into Monday morning.
..Tuesday…No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
