The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has extended
the

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for…
Northeastern Greenville County in Upstate South Carolina…
Northwestern Spartanburg County in Upstate South Carolina…

* Until 645 AM EST

* At 427 AM EST, runoff from heavy rain earlier today has resulted
in rises along the Middle Tyger River basin. Floodwaters from the
Middle Tyger and Resin Creek will cover a portion of Mount Lebanon
Road through tonight. The river will continue to recede through
the early morning.

* Flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Greenville and northwestern Spartanburg Counties.

Additional rainfall of up to an inch is expected over the area. This
is expected to result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

or landslides to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,
