This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia, piedmont
North Carolina, western North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast today, with
the greatest coverage during the afternoon and early evening. Cloud
to ground lightning is possible with any of the storms, along with
locally heavy rainfall. A few of the storms will be capable of severe
weather in the form of damaging winds and hail as large as 1 inch in
diameter.
