* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 601 PM EDT, high flows along the Tallulah River and the Tugalo
River due to previous heavy rainfall and ongoing runoff upstream
is causing pool rises at Lake Tugalo, Lake Yonah, and Lake
Hartwell. This may result in minor flooding of lake shorelines and
of lake access points, docks, and swimming areas.

* Minor flooding is defined as flooding of low-lying areas next to
streams and lakes, farmland, recreational areas, greenways, and
boat access ramps. Caution is advised anywhere near such areas.

* The latest pool elevations for the upper Catawba River lakes are
as follows:
Lake Tugalo: 890.90 feet. Full pool is 891.50 feet.
Lake Yonah: 746.9 feet. Full pool is 744.20 feet.
Lake Hartwell: 663.06 feet and nearly steady. Full pool is 660.00

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Hartwell, Reed Creek, Gumlog, Tallulah Falls, Tugaloo State Park,
Lake Hartwell, Sandy Springs, Fair Play, Sadlers Creek State Park
and Townville.
