much of the western upstate of South Carolina and northeast Georgia.
Numerous clusters were moving northeast at 40 mph.

Locations to be impacted include…
Anderson, Greenwood, Toccoa, Abbeville, Elberton, Hartwell,
Carnesville, Seneca, Homeland Park and Northlake.

Wind gusts up to 30 mph and very heavy rainfall, with new rainfall

parts of western North Carolina. Numerous clusters were moving
northeast at 40 mph.

Locations to be impacted include… Gastonia, Greenville Downtown,
Hickory, Spartanburg, Downtown Asheville, Statesville, Shelby,
Easley, Lenoir and Morganton.

Wind gusts up to 30 mph and very heavy rainfall, with new rainfall

At 644 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Chester, or near Blackstock, moving northeast at 20
mph.

Locations to be impacted include…
Rock Hill, Chester, Newport, Lesslie, Richburg, Chester State Park,
Catawba, Cornwell, Edgemoor and Blackstock.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail will be possible in these
areas. Torrential rain is also likely with the storm. Other
thunderstorms should continue to develop over parts of Chester and
York counties in South Carolina into the evening.
