.A COLD AND DRY ARCTIC AIR MASS REMAINS IN PLACE ACROSS PORTIONS
OF THE WESTERN CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA. A LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM OVER THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY WILL MOVE EAST AND
SPREAD MOISTURE OVER THE TOP OF THE COLD AIR THROUGH TONIGHT.
PRECIPITATION WILL START OUT AS MAINLY FREEZING RAIN AND FREEZING
DRIZZLE…BECOMING ALL RAIN BY EVENING IN MOST OF NORTHEAST
GEORGIA…UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA…AND THE SOUTHERN TIER OF
