* Until 1245 PM EDT.

* At 718 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
the as much as 3 inches of rain had fallen since last night in
portions of the warned area. Additional and occasionally heavy
tropical rain bands are forecast to redevelop along the I-85
corridor. Urban flooding across greater Greenville and
Spartanburg is likely to worsen this morning. Rivers and Creeks,
especially the Reedy, Enoree, Saluda and Pacolet basins and their
tributaries may flood.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Greenville Downtown, Spartanburg, Greenville Eastside, West
Greenville, Greer, Mauldin, Taylors, Simpsonville, Berea and Five
Forks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Do not attempt to cross
water-covered roadways, bridges, or low-level crossings. Only a few
inches of rapidly flowing water can carry away your vehicle. It is
not worth the risk. Please TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN.
